Asteroid Dice: The giant throw & collide squishy dice game!

Hi everyone! Hope our US backers enjoyed the eclipse this week! Camden was overcast as usual.

We are super excited to say that Asteroid Dice is being loaded up into containers, ready to ship, as we write this. The final samples came in last month, and we were happy with everything - the squishiness of the dice was great, the infill of the numbers on the coloured dice helped everything stand out so much more, and the packaging looks awesome!

We'll keep you updated with the shipping progress.  We will let you know when everything lands at our fulfilment centres and is on its way out to you.

Hi everyone, we're back with another update!

We have dice samples which we are happy with for the base game and fireball dice! We have added better contasting infilled numbers, (which is only available on Kickstarter products). It's good to see the colours working well together.

Production is almost complete and its looks like our squishy dice will be leaving the factory early April.

Hi backers, thank you for your patience, we've got a quick update on Asteroid Dice for you!

Here are the latest pics of some products hot off the press, looking forward to ship them out from our factory!

We've also got our Shape Invaders motherships made (exclusive glow in the dark ones for Asteroid Dice backers) which we will be sending out to with your games to give you a little flavour of our next game! 

Shallow Dice:

Our pre-production samples of the colourful Asteroid Dice (Arcade Edition) looked great, but some of the final versions have come back and the numbers are too shallow. We won't be happy releasing a product that isn't up to our standards. We are working on remedying this, and so are adding extra coloured spray numbers increase the readability of the dice.

Chinese New Year will come and go before we ship, due to this setback. Again, sorry for the delay, but we prefer to ship everything as high in quality as possible even if it costs us more and takes a month extra. On a positive note, the dice's squish is excellent and they have been making great stress balls while sorting this out!

Just a quick pre-Christmas update to tell you that production is in full swing, and going well! It currently looks like we will start shipping from the factory before Chinese New Year. 🐉

So many dice!!

Hi Backers,

This is a bit of a bittersweet update for us, the product is progressing well and we have samples in - the boxes, bags and dice look great! Unfortunately we have been struggling with consistent squishiness in our dice. This is super important to us and we want to get it right, so have been having a lot of back and forth with the factories we are using.

We have improved the way the numbers are added to the dice, making them much more crisp and clean looking than the previous samples!

We were aiming to ship in November but with this slight setback we will instead be shipping early in the new year, so this does mean that you will not be receiving the product before Christmas as we'd initially planned. From the team, we are sorry we couldn't nail it first time - the product is super close, but we want it to be as good as we can make it and hope it will be worth be worth the wait.

Putting the squish-o-meter to work!
